REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

1. Player Cancellations

• Cancellations must follow the OpenSports event policy.

• Refunds are only issued if cancellation occurs before the event’s refund cutoff time.

• Late cancellations or no‑shows are non‑refundable.

• Repeated no‑shows may result in restricted access to future events.

2. Event Cancellations by NYCIF

If NYCIF cancels an event due to:

• Weather

• Field closure

• Low turnout

• Safety concerns

• Operational issues

Players will receive:

• A full refund or

• A credit toward a future session

3. Weather Policy

NYCIF plays in most weather conditions except:

• Lightning

• Unsafe field conditions

• Extreme weather alerts

If the session is canceled due to weather, refunds or credits will be issued.

4. No Transfers

• Spots cannot be transferred to another player.

• Registration is for the individual only.

5. Membership Refunds

• Memberships are non‑refundable once activated.

• Members may cancel future renewals at any time.

• Benefits remain active until the end of the billing cycle.
